Hey, I'm Diego.
I got into design through art school, moved into graphic design, and ended up in UX. It just made sense. I care more about why things work than how they look. Currently, I design products and systems at InFlight Logistics, an aviation tech company focused on modernizing the air cargo industry.
Fine Art & Graphic Design
Color, form, and composition first. GSU gave me the visual vocabulary. Knowing how to make something feel right before knowing why it does.
UX & Systems Thinking
Found that great design isn't about what looks good. It's about what works. Georgia Tech sharpened the research lens. Joined startups and the Fed, went deep on flows and patterns.
Design × Code
Handing off wasn't enough. Started building. Shipped a native iOS app to the App Store. Now I move between Figma and a codebase like they're the same tool.
If it's outside,
I'm in.
You'll find me hiking trails, scaling walls, or on a pickleball court. Pool is my slowdown. The outdoors is where I reset, and where I do some of my best thinking.
& counting.
When you've watched the same problem solved 25 different ways, you stop thinking in defaults. Travel made me a better designer before I knew I was one.
